I had to work all day, but things were slow so I made a pair of these:
For my granddaughter’s little feet:
Yarn: Vanna’s Choice
Hook: size H
I know. I said that I don’t care for crochet. And I don’t. I just keep having to remind myself of that, I guess. It’s kinda like me and sewing. I can’t stand to sew. But every now and then I just need to prove it to myself again. I’m a slow learner.

I found this adorable bunny pattern and couldn’t resist. I forgot one thing. I don’t like to crochet. I guess every now and then I need to be reminded. But at least my granddaughter got a new toy from the experience.
Pattern: Funky Bunny in a Dress
Yarn: Vanna’s Choice and Cottonease
Hook: size G for the bunny & dress, F for the ruffle and bow.

Made this a while ago, but I’m horrible about finishing projects. I hate to sew, and that includes sewing on buttons. However, faced with the reality that Q will soon OUTGROW the dang sweater, I got my act together and finished the job. Q-honey, it’s on the way!
Pattern: my own.
Yarn: Vanna’s Choice!

Cassidy Rose is not even 7 months old, and check her out. She’s got places to go, dammit. Sitting, crawling, even standing. She reminds me of my Corgi with her short little legs.

Feather & Fan baby blanket for a baby girl due to make her debut next month. Took me about a week to make this. Speed knitting, indeed! Yarn is “Vanna’s Choice” (which I LOVE) and size 10 nylon circular needles. Pattern available all over the net, I cast on 154 stitches for a nice, big blanket. Big enough to keep both mom and baby warm.

My friend Q & my great-nephew Noah are celebrating their first Winters this year. They deserve new hats, no? Pattern came straight from my head, doubled DK yarn and size 8 circs. And who doesn’t love tassels?

I just finished this hoodie for my granddaughter and after trying a dozen different embellishments for it I decided to go with just a plain bow at the neck. I like to knit. I don’t like to embroider and fuss.
For those interested in the pattern, here ya go. I made mine with Cottonease (in Almond) and size 8’s, size 6-9 months. And because my dog doesn’t understand why on Earth I would be taking pictures of anything besides HIM…
That’s Fred, attempting to look serious.

If you know me, you know I make sheep. Lots and lots of sheep. I sell sheep stitch markers on etsy mostly. But now I’m also doing earrings! These are originals, my handmade creations from start to finish. Hunt me down on etsy if you’d like a pair. =)

That’s Fred. He’s new here. He was all excited about his toilet paper mess… until I gave him that “Fred. What did you do?” look. Then I get the apologetic puppy face look from him.
Anyway… Fred is my 6 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. 29 lbs of pure puppy love. Fastest I’ve ever fallen in love.

Get it? Two Eyelet Yoke Sweaters for a pair of fraternal twins! I’m brilliant! It’s nearly birthday time for Remy “Lou” & Sydney “Smoochy”, my favorite almost 2 year old girls. And because they are a couple of stylin’ chicks… only the best buttons will do. Check them out, clear acrylic buttons with real dried flowers encased. That’s right. Aunt Janet rules. The girls will appreciate that little touch, trust me. They love details.
Each sweater took nearly 2 skeins of Cottonease yarn, size 8 needles. Fun pattern, but man oh man they need to redesign it so its top-down and less SEWING. Knitting = fun. Sewing afterwards = suck.
